UUM HOLDINGS SDN. BHD. (UUM HOLDINGS)
UUM HOLDINGS SDN. BHD. was rebranded from prevoiusly known as Uniutama Management Holdings Sdn Bhd, on 12 February 2024 after receiving approval from the Group’s Board of Directors. The company is a wholly-owned company of Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM), established on May 18, 1999, under its original name, Uniutama Management Sdn. Bhd. (UMSB). On January 28, 2003, it officially changed its name to Uniutama Management Holdings Sdn. Bhd. (UMHSB). UMHSB is a private limited company registered with a paid-up capital of RM21,800,000.00. Its responsibility is to conduct business activities to generate income and positive returns for the university’s financial resources, either through dividends or indirect financial contributions.Initially, UUM HOLDINGS (UMHSB previously) only engaged in commercial activities around Lembah Sintok and Jitra, Kedah. However, it has since expanded its operations both within and outside the university. UMHSB is involved in various business sectors, including management, education, trade, tourism services, hospitality, facility management, cleaning services, landscaping, information technology, Food & Beverage (F&B), and more.
